Drama / TIE programs – Stones, Herons, Klamm’s War, new youth theatre productions


The aim of these after-show programs is digesting the theatrical experience together with other audience members after the show, talking and playing together. We offer the means of drama and theatre for formulating their opinions and problems, hoping that playing together makes the theatre visit a real community experience. The groups and classes can take part in the programs by prior appointment.

Performances based on adaptations of works written by famous writers are frequent on the stage of Kolibri Theatre. We started the Kolibri theatre reader because we would like to ease the passage from book and stage, stage and book for our young audience members. After the performance the audience members have a possibility to talk about their reading experience, and to create a new interpretation of the literary work serving as the basis of the performance by talking about what they have just seen on stage. The Kolibri Theatre reader may be ordered for groups.
